Ceiling Mold Removal in Charlotte, NC. Dark spots spreading across your ceiling aren't just a cosmetic issue. They're a sign of mold growing where you can't reach it.

Looking up at mold on your ceiling is one of those problems that's hard to live with and almost impossible to fix properly on your own. You can paint over the stain or scrub it from a stepladder, but it keeps coming back because what you're seeing started somewhere above the drywall. If it's in the room where you sleep or eat, it's the first thing you notice every morning. We treat ceiling mold at the source, usually without cutting your ceiling open, and can often handle it the same day.

“Such an amazing team! Very kind and informative of the entire process!”
“Daniel and his company go above and beyond any normal service. I also work in an industry where communication and expectations are a must. So many fall short of great customer service. But not Pure Air of North Carolina. Though we did not use them for our remedy. I thought it important to let others know that this company is worth your time. They even offered future services regardless of our decision. Thank you Pure Air of North Carolina.”
“Very professional, arrived promptly. Did testing inside & then went to crawl space. Thank You So Much Daniel for sending someone so promptly.”
The most obvious sign is a dark spot that grows over weeks or keeps coming back after you clean or repaint it.
The old way of removing ceiling mold means cutting out sections of drywall, climbing into the space above to treat or replace materials, then patching, taping, texturing, and repainting. Your ceiling is torn apart for days and you're living under plastic sheeting.
We use Pure Air Charlotte's patented VaPURE technology, which reaches mold on both sides of the ceiling at once. The antimicrobial sterilant moves through the cavity, around joists, across the top of the drywall, and into any connected attic space, treating mold wherever it's taken hold.
A second pass lays down a protective coating that helps stop it from coming back. If the drywall itself is too soft or sagging to save, we'll tell you.
Most jobs are finished in a single day and you can use the room that night.
Old-school removal means you're paying for drywall cutting, disposal, treatment, new drywall, taping, mudding, texture matching, and paint.
We've treated ceiling mold caused by every kind of roof leak, bathroom fan issue, and plumbing problem the Charlotte area throws at homeowners, and we do it without scaffolding or week-long drywall repair. Most inspections and treatments get done on the same visit. Every job is backed by independent lab testing, and we guarantee indoor mold levels will come in lower than outdoor levels or we come back and retreat at no charge. We're based in Charlotte and we've seen enough of these jobs to recognize the real source before we even open a ladder.
Call Pure Air Charlotte at 704-396-4233 and we'll come take a look. In most cases we inspect, quote, and finish the work in a single visit. Stop staring at that stain; we'll handle what's happening above it.
